Guide rings

The use of support guide rings has the following advantages:
(1) No cylinder pull-out, small leakage. No matter how severe the "tension" phenomenon is, there will be no "pulling cylinder" phenomenon, and the leakage is reduced due to the high coaxiality of the friction pair and the more uniform radial clearance.
(2) Polish, thinn and protect the inner wall of the cylinder.
The support ring on the piston slides back and forth with respect to the cylinder inner wall,
which is equivalent to polishing the cylinder inner wall with a soft substrate.
Therefore, the lower the surface roughness, the better.Tiny metal powders that have
been polished are embedded in the soft surface of the ring to protect the seal.
(3) Good bearing capacity and easy replacement.
PTFE bearing rings are resistant to (25~30) MPa,
and reinforced glass fiber synthetic resin is resistant to (270~350)
MPa. The guide ring is open (floating) and easy to replace after wear.
X-ring
The X-ring can be installed in a dedicated groove with a low compression ratio to reduce friction, but it can also be used in an o-ring groove of the same size. X-ring has lower friction, can overcome torsion better, and can obtain better lubrication; It can be used as a motion sealing element at lower speeds, and it is also suitable for static sealing; It is an improvement and enhancement on the basis of the performance of the O-ring.
Characteristics of X-ring:
Compared to O-rings, the x-ring has less friction resistance, start-up resistance, due to the lubrication cavity formed between the sealing lips.
